IMPORT / EXPORT / SHIPPING

When shipping your animal hides/skins to Delaware & Hudson Taxidermy, we ask that you follow these instructions. Please ship dry salted skins and frozen skins appropriately.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE SHIPMENT:

  • Name
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Address
  • Hunting License Number

 

Call prior to sending any shipment so we can expect it. You will be contacted as soon as your trophies have arrived at our facility.

If you are shipping frozen skins, we recommend doing so at the beginning of the week by Two-Day or Next Day delivery. This will ensure the package(s) arrive during the business week and are placed into our freezer as soon as possible.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

Delaware & Hudson Taxidermy accepts shipments from ANYWHERE. If you are sending trophies from overseas, it is necessary that they arrive at a U.S. Port of Entry and must clear customs at that time.

Our broker is Fauna & Flora Customhouse Brokerage Co. (phone: 718.977.7700), who will receive your trophies and clear them with USDA and Fish and Wildlife Services.

Please contact us for coordinating your overseas shipment, so that we can coordinate our shop accordingly.

Note: Delaware & Hudson does not solicit or accept illegally taken wildlife. All skins/hides must have proper seals or government tags attached if required by law for that species as per the state or country of origin.
